One of the few times the use of a double neck guitar is actually warranted. Felder got f-ed by Frey and Henley with their massive egos, along with their power trips and control issues. The Eagles would be a much smaller deal without the contributions of Felder (Hotel California) and Walsh (Life's Been Good) and all the guitar contributions of both.

Lol, they wouldn't let Felder sing on the Eagles albums but at this point he's a better singer than Henley

People hate on the Eagles for firing him but all he had to do was show up, play his awesome solos, and then cash his big check. His own ego couldn't handle Henley and Frey making more money. It was their band before he ever joined so he shoulda just enjoyed his role. Although I do think he should have had an equal cut considering how much he contributed to the band, especially during the reunion. I do wish he was still in the band though. The new guy doesn't sound that great.

I'm just a bit surprised Sammy didn't join in on guitar too, but this was a great spotlight for Felder.

I learned the lead guitar to this song a long long time ago. Even though its not the hardest thing to play or anything, its really difficult to make it sound like Felder does. He has such an amazing touch on the fretboard and his plectrum is absolutely perfect. I noodle around with it occasionally. Some bands I've been in wanted to do the song just because I can play it, but I've always said no because first off I don't wanna make an ass of myself, and second, the Eagles are the stingiest group of litigation happy musicians on the planet. You know? You can play Bob Segers stuff til your fingers fall off and I just love Drew Abbott's playing! Theres another guy with really special fingers!
